An exterior detail goes well past a car wash. It's a careful, hands-on cleaning of every outside surface: paint, glass, trim, wheels, tires and the spots a wash tunnel never reaches.
The goal is to remove the dirt and bonded contamination safely, without adding scratches, and leave the finish clean, slick and protected.

How we do it

Inspect
We walk around the vehicle, look at the paint and note anything that needs extra attention.

Wheels & tires first
Wheels, tires and wheel wells are cleaned first so brake dust and road grime don't splash onto clean paint.

Pre-wash & hand wash
A pre-wash loosens dirt, then the vehicle is washed by hand with methods designed to keep scratches out of the paint.

Decontaminate
Iron and tar removers and a clay treatment lift bonded contamination that washing alone leaves behind.

Dry carefully
The vehicle is dried with soft towels and air to avoid swirls and water spots.

Glass, trim & finish
Glass is cleaned streak-free, trim is dressed and a protective layer is applied to the paint.

Final inspection
We check the vehicle in good light and touch up anything we missed.
